Celebrate the dog days of summer on St. Paul's Grand Avenue. The Grand Avenue Business Association and the Animal Humane Society present the 3rd annual Paws on Grand. Enjoy sidewalk sales, services for pets and fun activities for the whole family- including your pup!

Animal Humane Society will be at various locations along the Avenue, including Whole Foods, Kowalski's and the corner of Grand and Victoria.

Stop by one of our information tables to learn more about our programs and services, pick up some extra poop bags, get a temporary tattoo, or cool off your pooch with a drink and a dip in our doggie wading pools. Free pet sitters will be available to spend some quality time with your four-legged friend while you shop. Shop our fun pet-related merchandise at our information booths and look for our roaming street vendors.

The Animal Humane Society's Big Fix will be at the Kowalski's parking lot. The Big Fix is a mobile surgery unit. Tour the Big Fix and find out how many dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered each day. Animal Humane Society veterinary staff will be available to trim your pet's nails ($10) or give your pet a microchip ($40).

Have a question about your four-legged friend's behavior? Animal Humane Society trainers will be at Frattallone's Ace Hardware (1676 Grand) and Kowalski's (1261 Grand).

Help Animal Humane Society one dime at a time. During June and July, when you bring your own shopping bag to Whole Foods on Grand, they will donate ten cents per bag to AHS.
